The main design field is the general design of industrial, technological, commercial and public buildings and support for their implementation and operation. Planning is in itself a complex process. The design of a facility is by definition architectural,
structural, mechanical and electrical engineering plans. Someone has to bring together the sectional designers. This role is played by the architect. Our thorough and precise designs minimise problems during construction.
Design and optimisation of support structures
Our job is to design a structure for the building the architect has in mind that can support its own weight and the loads it is subjected to. This is achieved through appropriate modelling, which allows us to test the necessary and justified level of resistance. The result is a structural design that serves the architect's
and the work of the contractor. If the project is too expensive, complicated or large in the first place, optimising the support structure can really save a lot of time, money and energy. With modern software, we can even model the impact of a change on the structure and costs in real time.
Building survey, building diagnostics
We use state-of-the-art 3D laser scanning equipment and software to produce building surveys, providing accurate digital 3D point cloud-based representations of existing buildings and structures. We produce scale 2D drawings or 3D BIM models from the point cloud. This data will assist in the project redesign and planning process. We take drone images to document and assess the condition of existing buildings during the design process. We use drones to track construction sites
and document it at given intervals. During the building diagnostics, our expert engineers will carry out a comprehensive survey of the building, review its technical condition and make recommendations on what repairs will be needed later. But with our unique instruments, we can accurately and non-destructively assess any property and determine its true load-bearing capacity.
